I just can't describe the amazingness that happened today. Ben and I popped along for our 12 week baby scan appointment, and what do you know – there was our very human looking little bub! And just like that, all my fears (or most of 'em, let's face it, I'll always be a worry wart!) were lifted!
It bumped about, it wriggled, it moved it's arms and "held it's nose" as the scanner commentated. But best of all, it just was. Currently measuring 5.4cm with a heartrate of 167, our little Olive is doing very well and is right on track for my new due date – 9 March 2016.
So, I'm going to truck on with this blog as originally intended: to document our experience for our family and friends to read in their own time, so everyone can keep in touch with how it's all going.
