Week 19 / Little Olive Update (and gender reveal?)

Check it oooout, feeling like my bump is in full swing now! I can still manage to hide it under very loose tops and jumpers, but as soon as the wind blows, there's no denying that bub under there. I've had such an amazing week, despite the fact that I manage to come down with a cold while in New Zealand (doh). The Best Awards evening was a fantastic night, great to see my old colleagues. Staying with mama, Phil and the sisters was a lot of fun – there was fresh baked cupcakes when I got in the door, and we all just hung out when I wasn't running around. I had a pizza night with my in-laws Jo and Geoff (it was so delish, I miss Jo's pizza!), a lovely lunch with my grandparents, and a few other little dates. It was really surreal, it felt like my time in Sydney had all been a dream.

It's good to be home with Ben and the dog though. And... today is our morphology scan; the last time we'll see bub before it's born! We have the chance to learn about bub's gender today, but after a bit of deliberation, Ben and I have decided...

...to keep bub's sex a surprise. It just feels right this way. You're going to have to find out the gender the same time as we do!

_________

How far along?
19 weeks today. One more and I'll be half way!

Symptoms
All good, excluding that cold that I caught.

Maternity clothes
I have my maternity jeans and then my loose tops, but have also been wearing some of my maxi dresses.

Stretch marks
No.

Sleep
It's been a bit trickier this week. Sometimes my tummy feels a bit uncomfortable. I've also been getting leg cramps in the night.

Best moment this week
New Zealand trip!

Worst moment this week
Being sick with a cold. Pass me the Vitamin C.

Movement
Little taps still, but I'm so eager for Ben to be able to feel them soon!

Food cravings
Fruit smoothies.

Anything making you feel sick or queasy?
Still not loving the thought of that restaurant Ippudo.

Gender
No idea... hopefully we don't accidentally see something at the scan today.

Belly button in or out?
Innie.

Happy or moody?
Pretty happy!

Looking forward to...
My scan in just 2 hours time! Woohoo.

This week's tune:
Easy Rider by Action Bronson. I don't love all of his music, though I quite like him outside of the rapping biz. He doubles as a chef, and I love the food show he posts online.
